Hello and Welcome to our blog!We are the Banana Bunch!, well at least until I can come up with something more clever and witty :-). From left to right this is Me (Michelle) holding our youngest child, Anna, who is about 3 months, then there is Daniel, my Husband, holding our almost 2 year old son Joseph. Thank you for visiting our blog. We ask that if you are here for the first time please read the rest of this paragraph regarding our blog safety. While I was reading an article in our monthly church magazine called the Ensign I saw an article about safe blogging tips. One of the tips was paying attention to what you are posting. I will not post anything on our blog about where we live, where we work, our contact information, last names ext.. and I will not post anything about anyone elses personal information here either. If I do post something on accident that you think is inappropriate please let me know and I will delete the statement as soon as possible. I would also ask that you, our friends and family, not post things that are too personal or revealing about us in the comments as well. This is not to say we don't want you to comment, we would just like to remind you that you never know who could be reading it. If I do post a story about someone I know I will not use names or their real names at least. For example here is what you may not want to say " I remember Christmas of 1988 when we were still living in Colorado, Springs and you were 6 years old. You screamed when Mom and Dad put you on Santa's Lap." You may want to instead say " I remember a Christmas when you were around 6 years old and you screamed at Santa when Mom and Dad put you on his lap."
I made these costumes from sewing patterns so I still need to finish mine. When I wore it on Halloween it was all safety pined up. Mom and Dad were the only way that I even made it that far. I was sewing all the way up to wearing it on Halloween. I made a matching Musketeer costume for Daniel but he had a test to get an alternative teaching certification that same day of halloween, two tests actually. He didn't have time to get all the way dressed up with the white shirt and boots and everything so we don't have a picture of him and Joseph together yet. I intend to finish mine and then have us all get pictures together still. My friend lent me a costume for Anna that was a pea pod so we will get a picture of her in that as well. I felt bad though because we missed most of the Halloween party at church because of my sewing of my costume.:-(. I need to give myself more time if I am going to do this again that is for sure.
